Hives is a skin disease (sometimes also appears in the mucous membranes) which is manifested in the form of rash (skin rash, whitish or reddish) and itching all over the body. Allergic urticaria is usually more persistent than in cases of urticaria, where the symptoms usually disappear within a few hours of the start of the process-because there is an allergen that causes it. In these cases, besides the typical rash and swelling and itching, often accompanied by other symptoms such as swelling or difficulty breathing. That's when a study is required by the allergist. The usual treatment for this type of ailment are antihistamines and corticosteroids, under medical supervision.
